Egypt, Alexandria. Hadrian, 117-138. Tetradrachm (Billon, 23mm, 12.63 g 12), year 21 = 136/7. ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙC ΤΡΑΙΝ ΑΔΡΙΑΝΟC CΕΒ Laureate head of Hadrian to right. Rev. L Κ Α Demeter standing facing, her head turned to left, holding grain ears in her right hand and long torch in her left. Emmett 832. Köln 1209. Milne 1519. A really splendid example, fully silvered and beautifully struck. Good extremely fine.
