ATTICA, Athens. Circa 430s-420s BC. Obol (Silver, 8mm, 0.58 g 6). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet adorned with olive leaves and palmette turned upwards. Rev. ΑΘΕ Owl standing to right, with head facing ; to left, long curved olive leaf and fruit. SNG Munich 77 ff. Nicely centered and clear. Toned but with some traces of corrosion and surface roughness. Good very fine.
