SELEUKID KINGS of SYRIA. Seleukos I Nikator. 312-281 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 28mm, 17.14 g 5), Seleukeia in Pieria, after 300 BC. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. ΣΕΛΕΥΚΟΥ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ Zeus seated left on high backed throne, holding Nike stretching right to crown him in his right hand and scepter in his left; to left, monogram; below throne, ΚΡ. Le Rider, Antioch, 25 (A3/P11). SC 29,1b. WSM 890. A wonderful coin, well-struck in high relief. Good extremely fine.
