THESSALY. Trikka. circa 440-400 BC. Obol (Silver, 12 mm, 0.86 g, 4 h), Horse prancing to left. Rev. Athena standing to left holding long scepter and spending left to altar . Traité IV, 549, pl. CCXCI, 19. SNG Cop.-. Very rare. Struck on a spread flan, otherwise, very fine.

Although it is stated in the bibliography that the female figure on the reverse is a Nymph, after close examination of the best available examples, a identification of Athena is more possible.
