AKARNANIA, Leukas. Circa 350-300 BC. Dichalkon (Bronze, 4.29 g 9). Bellerophon riding Pegasos to right, wearing petasos and hurling spear held in his upraised right hand; below, round shield. Rev. Chimaera walking to right. BCD Akarnania 252.3 var. BMC -. An attractive piece, with a shiny, very dark green patina. Some traces of corrosion, otherwise, about extremely fine.
