PHRYGIA. Synnada. Gallienus, 253-268. (Bronze, 33 mm, 16.86 g, 5 h), after 260. ΑΥΤ ΚAI Π ΛΙΚ ΓΑΛΛΙΗΝΟC / CΕΒ Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gallienus to right. Rev. CΥΝΝΑΔΕΩΝ Herakles Farnese standing facing, head to right, leaning on club set on rocks to his right and with his lion skin over his left arm. BMC 405.67 same dies. Possibly the best example of this rare type. Well struck and clear. Good very fine.
