Lucilla, Augusta, 164-182. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 31 mm, 28.17 g, 12 h), Rome, struck under Marcus Aurelius, circa 164-169. LVCILLAE AVG M ANTONINI AVG F Draped bust of Lucilla to right. Rev. VENVS Venus seated left on high-backed throne, holding Victory in her right hand and long vertical scepter with her left. BMC 1773 (Marcus Aurelius). Cohen 83. RIC 1776 (Marcus Aurelius). A lovely example with a most attractive green patina and an elegant portrait. Fields gently smoothed, otherwise, good very fine.
