Hadrian, 117-138. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 3.22 g, 8 h), Rome, struck circa 134-138. HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P Bare head of Hadrian to left. Rev. AEGYPTOS Egypt reclining left, holding sistrum in her right hand and resting her left arm on basket; at her feet, ibis standing right on low column. RIC 297e. C. 103. Same dies as G&M 147 lot 2125. Scarce, nice details. Very fine.
