KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip II, 359-336 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 14.42 g, 12 h), Amphipolis, circa 342/1-329/8. Laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. ΦIΛIΠΠOΥ Young jockey, holding palm branch and reins, riding horse to right; below horse, prow to right. Le Rider - (D197/R338). A beautiful example with a very dignified head of Zeus. Some minor surface roughness, otherwise, good very fine.
