Diocletian, 284-305. Antoninianus (Billon, 23mm, 3.80 g 1), Lugdunum, 287-289. IMP C DIOCLETIANVS P AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Diocletian to right. Rev. IOVI TVTATORI AVGG / P Jupiter, naked but for cloak, standing slightly left, holding Victory on globe in his right hand and long vertical scepter with his left; at his feet to left, eagle standing left, his head turned to right. Cohen 296 var. (differing bust type). Lyon 145. RIC 54. Minor metal flaw on reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
