Titus, as Caesar, 69-79. Aureus (Gold, 20mm, 7.40 g 6), Rome, struck under Vespasian, 74. T CAESAR IMP VESP Laureate head of Titus to right. Rev. PONTIF TR POT Fortuna standing front on garlanded cippus, her head turned to left, holding rudder with her right hand and cornucopiae with her left. BMC 153 and BN 127 (Vespasian). Calicó 751. Cohen 165 var. (differing bust type). RIC 696 (Vespasian). A lovely example with a life-like portrait. Well-centered and sharply struck. Good very fine.
