ROM ET AVG Front elevation of the Altar of Lugdunum, decorated with the corona civica between laurels and stylized figures; altar flanked by columns surmounted by statues of Victory standing vis-à-vis, each holding a palm frond over left shoulder and wreath in right hand. BMC 580, BN 1761, Cohen 35 and RIC 248a corr. (Augustus). Very rare. Fine.

A lovely example with a particularly fine portrait of Germanicus. Obverse struck off center, otherwise. Good very fine.
