MYSIA. Pergamon. Circa 166-67 BC. Cistophoric Tetradrachm (Silver, 27 mm, 12.55 g, 1 h), c. 85-76 BC. Cista mystica from which snake coils; all within ivy wreath. Rev. Two snakes coiled around a bow case; between their heads, KP over monogram of ΠΡΥ; to left, monogram of ΠΕΡΓ; to right, thyrsos entwined by a serpent. Pinder 111. SNG Paris 1740. Obverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, very fine.
