MYSIA, Pergamon. Circa 166-67 BC. Cistophoric Tetradrachm (Silver, 27mm, 12.64 g 1), c. 85-76 BC. Basket (cista mystica) from which snake coils; around, ivy wreath with fruits. Rev. Two snakes coiled around a bow case; between the snake heads, KPI; to left, monogram of ΠΕΡΓ; to right, thyrsos entwined by a serpent. Kleiner 37. Pinder 111 var. (KP not KPI). Struck from a worn obverse die as usual, otherwise, very fine.
