EASTERN CELTS. 3rd-2nd century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24mm, 12.91 g 9), imitating Philip II of Macedon, ’Honter type’. Celticized laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. Horseman to right. Dembski 1300 (same dies). Lanz 687-689. An attractively toned and well-struck example with countermark and test cuts on the reverse. Minor die flaw on obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
