THESSALY. Larissa. Circa 420-400 BC. Drachm (Silver, 19 mm, 5.95 g, 12 h), Thessalos, with cloak and petasos over his shoulders, leaping left, both feet off the ground, holding a rushing bull by a band around its head. Rev. ΛΑΡ-ΙΣΑΙ Bridled horse with trailing rein galloping to right; all within shallow incuse square. BCD I 1128. Hermann Group III H, pl. III, 21. Nearly very fine.
