KINGS of MACEDON. Philip II, 359-336 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 23mm, 14.20 g 9), Amphipolis, struck under Philip III, c. 318-317. Laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΥ Young jockey, holding palm branch and reins, riding horse to right; below horse, monogram of ΔΙ and Λ. Le Rider pl. 45, 14. SNG ANS 636–7. Clear but with slightly rough surfaces. Good very fine.
