ISLAMIC, Anatolia & al-Jazira (Post-Seljuk). Artuqids (Mardin). Najm al-Din Alpi, AH 547-572 / AD 1152-1176. Dirhem (Bronze, 29 mm, 13.08 g, 5 h). Diademed Seleukid-style bust to right; laqab of Alpi across neck. Rev. Legend in three lines and margins. Album 1827. S&S Type 27. Very fine.



The obverse copies a Tetradrachm of Antiochos VII (138-129 BC).
