Geta, as Caesar, 198-209. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 33mm, 28.12 g 7), Rome, 203-208. P SEPTIMIVS GETA CAES Bare-headed and draped bust of Geta to right. Rev. CONCORDIA AVGVSTORVM / S C Caracalla and Geta, veiled, standing right and left, vis-à vis, sacrificing over altar in center; the one on the left holds a roll, the one on right baton or sword. Banti 7 (this coin). Cohen 18. RIC 134. Very rare. A most attractive example with fine brown patina and an impressive pedigree. Slightly rough on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
