CENTRAL EUROPE, Helvetii. 2nd century BC. Quinarius (Silver, 15mm, 1.39 g 12). Celticized laureate head of Apollo to right, with curly locks. Rev. Charioteer standing, holding whip and driving biga to left. Cf. Allen, SNR 53, pl. 11, 71 and obolos 3, 15 November 2015, 4 (stater). Flesche -. Extremely rare and apparently unique. A fascinating example of particularly good style. Both sides well-centered and sharply struck. Rough surfaces, otherwise, extremely fine.
