ATTICA, Athens. Circa 430s-400 BC (?). Tetradrachm (Silver, 24mm, 16.25 g 12), Of somewhat curious style, possibly a contemporary imitation in good silver. Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet adorned with three olive leaves and palmette, round earring and pearl necklace. Rev. ΑΘΕ Owl standing right, head facing; behind, olive spray and crescent moon; all within incuse square. Cf. Agora 8b (different style). Very fine.
