EASTERN CELTS. 2nd century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25mm, 12.01 g 4), ’Bartlose Gruppe’ Type. Celticized laureate head of Zeus to right without beard. Rev. Horseman to right; below, pellet. Flesche 672. Lanz 381. Cf. Preda pl. 13, 5 and 6. Very rare. A most attractive example with a particularly clear obverse and light toning. About extremely fine.
