THESSALY, Pharkadon. Last quarter of the 5th to 1st quarter of the 4th centuries BC. Obol (Silver, 12mm, 0.83 g). Horse pacing to right. Rev. Φ-A-P-KAΔO-NION Athena, wearing long robes and crested helmet, standing facing, head turned to left, holding spear with her right, her left hand on her waist; to right, shield leaning on tree; all in shallow incuse square. Cf. BCD 1272. BCDT 619.1 (same reverse die). Minor porosity, otherwise, good very fine.
