THESSALY, Pharsalos. Mid-late 5th century BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 3.05 g 2). Head of Athena to right, wearing simple earring and crested Attic helmet with raised cheek pieces. Rev. Φ-ΑR Horse’s head to right; all within shallow incuse. Lavva 47c, O29/R24a (this coin). Nicely toned and attractive. Extremely fine.
