THESSALY, Magnetes. Circa 30-27 BC. Tetrachalkon (Bronze, 22mm, 5.02 g 12). Laureate head of Asklepios to right. Rev. ΜΑΓΝ - ΗΤΩΝ Asklepios seated left on throne, holding staff in his left hand and extending phiale with his right hand to feed snake coiled before him. Rogers 354 and fig. 177 (same dies). Brown patina. Good very fine.


A note from BCD: A rare coin in any condition; this one is particularly well preserved and struck for the issue.
