THESSALY, Magnetes. Circa 150-130 BC. Chalkous (Bronze, 15mm, 2.47 g 1). Bust of Artemis to right, her hair in a bun at the back; at her shoulder, quiver. Rev. ΜΑΓΝΗΤΩΝ Poseidon, nude, standing left, holding dolphin in his right hand and trident with his left; to left, palm branch. Furtwängler, Series IV. Rogers 331. Nice dark patina. Good very fine.
