THESSALY, Larissa. Circa 420-400 BC. Drachm (Silver, 6.07 g 3). Head of the nymph Larissa to right, wearing pendant earring and with her hair in a sakkos. Rev. ΛΑΡΙΣΑ / Ι - Α Bridled horse prancing to right, with loose rein. Herrmann pl. IV, 10 (same dies). Lorber 2008, pl. 43, 65. Traité IV 695, pl. CCXCVIII, 5 (same dies) . A lovely coin, nicely toned, in good silver and on a full flan. Extremely fine.
