Rev. 5 ΔΡΑΧΜΑΙ /1845 Crowned shield bearing the coat of arms of Greece with the Wittelsbach arms at the center; all within an olive wreath with ties below. Divo 10e. Karamitsos 114. KM 20. LUCANIA. Metapontum. Circa 330-290 BC. Nomos or Didrachm (Silver, 19 mm, 7.84 g, 10 h). Head of Demeter to right, wearing grain wreath, triple pendant earring and pearl necklace. Rev. META Ear of barley [with leaf to right; above leaf, prow; below leaf, MAX]. Johnston Class C, 1.57. Toned. Tiny die break and reversesomewhat off center, otherwise, good very fine.
