ΓΥΡ / ΤΩΝΙΩΝ Horse kneeling to left, preparing to roll over. De Hirsch 1137 = Traité IV 741, pl. CCC, 10. Hirsch XIII (1905, Rhousopoulos), 1272 (same dies). Extremely rare, one of a very few examples known. Minor striking flatness on the reverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.

Ex Leu 48, 10 May 1989, 177 (CHF 8250).

The obverse of this coin clearly copies the earlier facing head issues of Larissa, but its reverse shows a horse preparing to roll over, which first appears somewhat later.
