IVPPITER CVSTOS Jupiter, bare to waist, seated to left on throne, holding a thunderbolt in his right hand and a long scepter in his left. BMC 77. BN 231. Calicó 413. Cohen 120. RIC 63. Vagi 683. Beautifully toned during the Vesuvius eruption, well-struck and most attractive. Extremely fine.
