SYRIA, Coele-Syria. Chalkis ad Libanon. Cleopatra VII of Egypt, 36-30 BC. Dichalkon (Bronze, 15.5 mm, 3.85 g, 12 h), regnal years ΚΑ = 21 (Egypt) and Ϛ = 6 (Chalkis) = 32/1 BC. ΒΑCΙΛΙCCΗC ΚΛΕΟΠΑΤΡΑC Diademed and draped bust of Cleopatra VII to right. Rev. ΕΤΟΥC ΚΑ ΤΟΥ ΚΑΙ Ϛ ΘΕΑC ΝΕWΤΕΡΑC Athena advancing to left, holding spear with her right hand and with her shield over her left arm. RPC 4773. Good portrait of Cleopatra, similar to those found on the denarii in the previous lots. Rough green patina as found. Good very fine.
