MYSIA. Lampsakos. Circa 400-370 BC. Stater (Gold, 18 mm, 8.45 g, 12 h). Head of Athena facing, turned slightly to the right, wearing a triple-crested Attic helmet with raised earflaps, a pendant earring and a pearl necklace. Rev. Forepart of Pegasos to right. Baldwin 20 and pl. II, 14 (same dies). SNG Paris 1141 = Traité II 2, 2541 and pl. CLXXI, 7 (same dies). Very rare. With a light reddish tone. Very minor marks, otherwise, good very fine.
