BITHYNIA. Herakleia Pontika. Circa 394-352 BC. Trihemiobol (Silver, 10 mm, 1.27 g, 12 h). Bearded head of Herakles to left, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. ΗΡΑΚ - ΛΕΙΑ Club to right. Rec. gén. I, 12. SNG BM 1577. SNG Stancomb 812. A very attractively toned example of very fine Classical style. Very minor deposits as found, otherwise, extremely fine.

From a European collection, originally acquired in Germany in the 1980s.
