ARGOLIS. Epidauros. Antoninus Pius, 138-161. Diassarion (Bronze, 23.5 mm, 8.70 g, 11 h). ΑΝΤΩ -[ΝΕΙΝΟC ΑΥΓ] Laureate head of Antoninus Pius to right. Rev. ΙΕΡΑC [ΕΠΙΔΑΥΡΟΥ] Asklepios seated left on throne, stretching his right hand towards the head of a snake coiled to left before him, and holding a long scepter with his left. NCP pl. L, iv. RPC 4638. Rare. Clear and with an attractive black patina. About very fine.

From the Maleatas and BCD Collections, said to have been found at Pheneus.
