Maximinus II, 310-313. Aureus (Gold, 19.5 mm, 5.33 g, 11 h), Antioch, 311. MAXIMI-NVS P F AVG Laureate head of Maximinus to right. Rev. VOTIS / X / SIC ET / XX /SMA In five lines within laurel wreath tied above and below. Calicó 5048. Depeyrot 28/1. RIC 130. Struck from the same dies as the piece in the British Museum (1867,1222.5), which was acquired from George Eastwood in 1867. Extremely rare. Clear and well-struck. Very minor marks, otherwise, good extremely fine.
