AEOLIS. Myrina. Circa 155-145 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 33 mm, 16.76 g, 12 h). Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. MΥΡINAIΩN Apollo Grynios standing to right, holding branch in his left hand and phiale in his right; at his feet to right, omphalos and amphora; in field to left, three monograms. De Luynes 2530. McClean 7946. Sacks Issue 30 (obverse die 58). Very well-struck, sharp and of richly flamboyant Hellenistic style. Good extremely fine.

From an American Collection, and from the Phoibos Collection, assembled in Munich during the 1950s-1960s.
