Helmeted and cuirassed Roman-style bust facing, head turned slightly to right, holding spear in right hand over right shoulder and shield with horseman motif on left arm; Pseudo-legend around. Rev. Incuse of obverse. Cf. Göbl, Dokumente pl. 87, B1. An interesting piece showing cross-cultural exchange through Central Asia. Flan slightly crinkled, otherwise, extremely fine.

Vima Kadphises standing facing, head left, sacrificing over altar to left; trident to left, tamgha and club to right. Rev. Siva standing facing, holding trident in right hand; behind, the bull Nandi standing right; Buddhist triratana (Three Jewels) to left. Donum Burns 98. MK 762. Well struck, and with a dark brown patina. Scratches, otherwise, good very fine.

Very rare, one of the earliest coins to bear a portrait of Alexander with only a diadem. Some uncleaned deposits, otherwise, very fine.
