KINGS OF MACEDON. Antigonos II Gonatas, 277/6-239 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 31.5 mm, 17.03 g, 3 h), "dramatic style", Amphipolis, circa 252/1-246. Horned head of Pan to left, within the center of a Macedonian shield. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ ANTIΓONOΥ Athena Alkidemos striding left; to left, Macedonian helmet with transverse crest; to right, monogram of EYPM. Panagopoulou Period II, Group 14, 56 corr.
