CORINTHIA. Corinth. Circa 350-300 BC. Stater (Silver, 22 mm, 8.60 g, 10 h). Ϙ Pegasus flying to left with pointed wing. Rev. Head of Aphrodite to left, wearing Corinthian helmet with neck guard and pearl necklace; behind neck, Α and stork standing to left, with his right foot raised. BCD -. BMC -. Calciati 395. Ravel 1035. A very scarce variety with a clear symbol. Nicely centered. Some striking flatness on both sides, otherwise, about extremely fine.

From a collection in Ticino formed prior to 2000.
