ATTICA. Athens. Circa 449-404 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25.5 mm, 17.21 g, 12 h), 430s-420s. Head of Athena to right, wearing a crested Attic helmet adorned with three olive leaves and a palmette, circular earring and a pearl necklace. Rev. ΑΘΕ Owl standing right, head facing; behind, olive spray and crescent moon; all within incuse square. Cf. Svoronos pl. 14, 4. Bright, lustrous, well-struck and well-centered. Good extremely fine.
