THESSALY. Larissa. Circa 356-342 BC. Drachm (Silver, 20 mm, 6.14 g, 6 h). Head of the nymph Larissa facing, turned slightly to the left, wearing ampyx, pendant earring, and simple necklace. Rev. [ΛΑΡΙΣ]-ΑΙΩΝ Horse to right, preparing to roll over; below, branch. BCD I 1156. BCD II 320. HGC 4, 454. Sharply struck and attractively toned – a splendid example. Reverse struck slightly off-center, otherwise, good extremely fine.
