PHRYGIA. Hierapolis. Titus, 79-81. Assarion (Bronze, 24 mm, 12.28 g, 1 h). [ΤΙΤΟϹC] ΚΑΙCΑΡ Draped and laureate head of Titus to right. Rev. [ΙE]ΡΑΠΟΛΙΤΩΝ Apollo riding right on horseback, holding double axe. Unpublished in the standard references. Shares the same obverse die as RPC 1304 (Apollo standing on the reverse) and similar reverse die as RPC 1304b. Extremely rare, seemingly unique. Nearly fine.
