MYSIA. Attaea. Caracalla, 198-217. (Bronze, 27 mm, 9.96 g, 12 h), struck under the strategos Andronos. AYT K M AYP ANTΩNEINOC Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Caracalla to right. Rev. CTP ANΔPΩNOC ATTAITΩ/N Zeus standing facing, head left, holding thunderbolt in right hand and scepter in left; to his left, male figure (Hero?), standing right, resting foot on rocks and leaning on knee. AMNG IV 407. SNG BN 154 (same obverse die). SNG von Aulock 1083 and 7209 (same obverse die). Brown patina. Surfaces a little rough, otherwise, good very fine.
