GERMANY. Nuremberg. Medal in the weight of 4 ducats (Gold, 32 mm, 13.94 g, 12 h), by Paul Gottlieb Nürnberger, active 1716-1746, on Love and Marriage, c. 1716-1746. DVLCIS AMOR, CONSTANSQVE FIDES, CONCORDIA FELIX Three standing female figures: Constantia, Fides and Concordia; in exergue, N (= Nürnberger). Rev. VITA VNA DVOBVS Olive (?) tree entwined with a grape vine; below tree, on the ground, monogram of NB. Cf. Erlanger 2261 (ducat of this type). Extremely rare, possibly unknown as a piece of 4 ducats. About extremely fine.
