MΡ ΘV The Virgin Mary, nimbate, seated facing on a backless throne, holding the nimbate head of the infant Christ at her breast. Rev. A/ΛE/ΞIω / ΔEC/ΠO/Τ - TΩ / KO/MN/H Alexius, crowned and wearing chlamys, standing facing, holding jewelled scepter in his right hand and a globus cruciger in his left. DOC 22. SB 1915. A rare issue, toned, well-struck, clear and sharp. Nearly extremely fine.
