PHRYGIA. Appia. Pseudo-autonomous issue, time of Philip I, 244-249. (Bronze, 21 mm, 4.30 g, 1 h). ΒΟΥΛΗ Veiled and draped bust of Boule to right. Rev. ΕΠ ΑΝΤΕΡ ΑΡΧ ΑΠΠΙΑΝ(ΩΝ) Dionysos standing left, holding kantharos in right hand and thyrsos in left. BMC 4, pl. XIII, 3 (same dies). SNG Copenhagen -. Mottled green and brown patina. Very fine.
