Hadrian, 117-138. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 33 mm, 26.21 g, 6 h), Rome, 136. HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P Laureate bust of Hadrian to right, with slight drapery on his far shoulder. Rev. FELICI - TAS AVG / S - C Felicitas standing left, holding downwardly-pointing branch with her right hand and long caduceus with her left. Banti 325. BMC 1499. Cohen 620. RIC 2255. A lovely coin, sharply struck, with an excellent portrait and with beautiful, glossy, dark, brown-red surfaces. Reverse slightly double-struck, otherwise, extremely fine.
