PTOLEMAIC KINGS OF EGYPT. Ptolemy VI Philometor, second reign, 163-145 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 14.31 g, 12 h), Alexandria, regnal year 27 = 155/154. Diademed head of Ptolemy I to right, wearing aegis. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΠΤΟΛΕΜΑΙΟΥ Eagle standing left on thunderbolt; in field to left, LΚΖ; in field to right, ΠΑ. SNG Copenhagen 296. Svoronos 1439. Lightly toned and clear with a portrait in high relief. Extremely fine.
