BAKTRIA, Greco-Baktrian Kingdom. Agathokles, circa 185-180 BC. Double Unit (Copper-Nickel, 23 mm, 7.58 g). Draped bust of Dionysos to right, wearing wreath of ivy; thyrsos behind. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ AΓAΘOKΛEOYΣ Panther standing right with raised paw, grape vine before; in exergue, monogram of PK. Bopearachchi 5A. HGC 12, 94. SNG ANS 234-5. Rather nice for the issue. Reddish-brown patina. Good very fine.
