KINGS OF PARTHIA. Arsakes I, 247-211 BC. Drachm (Silver, 17 mm, 4.07 g, 12 h), Mithradatkart-Nisa (?). Beardless Head of Arsakes to left, wearing bashlyk. Rev. ΑΡΣΑΚΟ[Υ] krny = (Aramaic Commander-in-chief) Archer (Arsakes) seated to right on stool, holding in his right hand; below stool, monogram of ΜΤ. A&S Type 4, obv. 4/6, rev. 4/6. Sellwood 4.1. Sunrise 239 (this coin). Very rare and important. Toned and clear. Reverse slightly weakly struck, otherwise, good very fine.
